Because we only became owners from September 2020, we were able to enjoy a wonderful holiday with a perfect view!

What a view! Peace immediately descends on you. A bit of zigzagging (45 minutes to the highway) but definitely worth it. The house is centrally located so that all beautiful cities are about 2 hours away. Had a great holiday! Posted 23 Oct. 2019 Beautiful house in a beautiful location !!!

You have a real holiday in this house. Fully equipped. Nice pool. View is great. You immediately meet David. He is really helpful with everything. We had a great holiday and will definitely go back.

Casa Mendoza is a beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious villa. It is in an amazing position with stunning views. The keys were left in a secure location for us and then David came along to check everything was OK. He is lovely - friendly and helpful, and yet he left us in peace. We had a (minor) issue with plumbing and he sent someone along the same day to sort it out. Thank you David! The unmade road that leads to the villa is not for the faint-hearted - it was particularly difficult to drive along at night and we made sure we were back before dark - but we were assured it was one of the better ones in the area. It is worth the drive - you end up in a lovely spot. Comares village is about 30-40 mins walk away, and there is a well-stocked supermarket there. You can walk to a nice bar / restaurant in about 20 minutes, but for more choice of facilities you have to drive. We had a wonderful week, and would be very happy to stay there again.

Beautiful modern villa with amazing views

We stayed at Villa Mendoza for 17 nights in September and really enjoyed our holiday. The villa is very well equipped, arrival and departure were easy and David is on hand to help with any issues and pass on useful information about restaurants and places to visit. It is approximately 50 minute drive to beaches and the road is very windy but to be in a villa with such amazing views it's worth it. There is a short cut walk from the villa, away from the roads, to Comares which takes about 20 minutes-great for morning coffee or evening drink at the bars. Views from the Comares restaurants are also amazing. Great place for at retreat

Enjoyed our week at the Comares house. Wonderful views, good nearby walks, and the nearby village is charming. Don't make the drive across the mountains at night, especially for the first time.

Wir were eine Woche im Mai in dem Haus. Der Blick ist atemberaubend - das Haus ist toll - gut geschnitten - gut ausgestattet. This is what it is - darum ist man auf das Auto angewiesen - but auch das macht den Charme aus - man ist fernab von allem - Comares ist nett - Málaga ist nur eine Stunde entfernt und selbst Granada ist gut zu erreichen ... Der Vermieter ist sehr nett - und der Mann voor Ort ist grandios - er ist immer ansprechbar - hilfsbereit - hat gute Tipps und Ideen und ist sehr nett!

Beautiful views; lovely villa; excellent service - highly recommended

The owners and their local representatives are lovely. David popped in to see us, and kept in touch via text message to ensure we had what we needed. One small issue with the water was sorted out immediately. The house is lovely, with good bathrooms, comfortable beds and plenty of seating. The exterior seating is a fabulous place to spend some time enjoying the spectacular views. The kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything you need - the only thing we couldn't find was a bread knife. There were some welcome groceries left for us, which was nice. The villa was clean and tidy. The location is somewhat out of the way, so a car is essential. The roads are typical mountain roads with plenty of twists and turns on the way. The last short stretch to the villa is an unpaved road with steep drop-offs. The driveway to the property is steep. None of this was a problem for me, but my wife found the driving a little stressful. I think this is just the price one pays for staying in such a beautiful location.
